There's no need to make special trips to our store just to deliver a disk. You can easily send a file from your computer to ours in a matter of minutes.
We support, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, QuarkXPress, Microsoft Publisher, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). We also support the PDF (.pdf) and PostScript (.ps) formats. If the printing extends to the edge of the piece, bleeds must be provided in the artwork at a distance of 1/8” on each side.
Programs such as Microsoft Publisher and the Microsoft Office Suite can be problematic when opened on computers other than the one they are created on. To ensure maximum portability, convert the Microsoft Office files to PDF on the machine they were created on.
Microsoft Office software cannot be color separated within the application. If the documents are to be printed on a printing press, we must use special procedures and tools to separate these files; this will require an additional charge. We will attempt to match the colors as closely as possible.
Some files may require special prepress preparation so they can print properly.
Files must be provided with ALL supporting graphic files and fonts. Most page-layout applications have built in utilities to facilitate packaging files.
Full-color images and photos to be printed in 4-color process must be prepared in CMYK (NOT RGB). Spot colors should be identified as Pantone colors.
A hard copy ‘mock-up’ of the document helps us know what you expect your document should look like. Please provide a hard-copy proof if possible.
